The Story
The mint green dial of this Seiko Prospex Speedtimer is inspired by 1980s-90s sports cars, referred to as ‘Youngtimers.’ Modelled on the Seiko SSC813, this Speedtimer inherits the fan-favourite Seiko ‘Panda’ style design, with its black subdials constrasting the main dial. The motor-sports themed chronograph inherits the flowing form of the 1960-70s Speedtimer models.
As a solar powered chronograph watch, it’s conveniently charged from both natural and electric light with its chronograph functionality accurately measuring elapsed time. Powered by an in-house V192 solar-charged movement, accurate to +/- 15 seconds per month, with a 6 month power reserve at full charge, it’s water resistant to 100m.
Prospex is a combination of the words ‘Professional’ and ‘Specifications.’ Seiko Prospex timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable and durable; to meet the high standards required in extreme environments for sports lovers and adventure seekers alike.
